| Indications | Used in a patient who is suspected of having T activation or RBC polyagglutination, either acquired or inherited. The test is not routinely ordered as an individual test but used to help resolve complex serologic investigations. |

| Test Information | Test will be performed as soon as possible following sample collection to minimize the chance that falsely positive or falsely negative reactions due to improper storage or contamination. |
| Sample Requirements | EDTA tube. Serum separator gel tube is not acceptable. |

| Minimum Volume or Pediatric volume | Minimum volume: 1 full 7 ml EDTA sample Pediatric: 1 full 3 ml EDTA sample; neonate: 2 full 0.5 ml EDTA microtainers |
